Dr. Jenny Chung
Dr. Jenny Chung grew up in Brooklyn and has been a New Yorker for most of her life. After graduating from Brooklyn Technical High School, Dr. Chung pursued her undergraduate studies at Hunter College, completing the Honors Program and graduating Magna Cum Laude. She continued her education in dentistry at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and earned her D.D.S. degree. She then completed a postdoctoral specialty residency at Columbia University and graduated with M.S. in Orthodontics. During her years at Columbia, Dr. Chung received several awards for her research and dedication to patient care.
Dr. Chung is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, an honor earned by less than a third of practicing orthodontists. This status is achieved only after successful completion of a clinical examination, after attaining a board eligible status. Dr. Chung is also a published author in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, the official publication of the American Association of Orthodontists. In her article, she discusses the complex interdisciplinary treatment that was necessary for a patient with Treacher Collins Syndrome.
