We want everyone to feel comfortable from the very first visit to our office. Usually, the first appointment is not very long and relaxed, but informative. During this visit, you will meet Dr. Chung and our friendly staff. We will listen to your concerns, perform an initial clinical examination, and assess whether there is a need for orthodontic treatment. In the case of a child, the parent will be informed of whether the child is ready for orthodontic treatment at this time. Often times, a clinical exam is enough to determine whether orthodontic treatment is necessary or helpful. However, in certain cases, diagnostic records are needed before this can be determined. If orthodontic treatment is recommended, or if diagnostic records are necessary to make this determination, the next appointment to obtain initial records, will be scheduled.
